1. General Return Window
7-Day Return Period: Customers have 7 calendar days from the exact date of delivery or physical pickup to log a return request.
Prompt Logging: Once this 7-day window expires, Mega Digital Limited cannot accept returns or issue refunds, and any subsequent hardware issues must be handled under our standard limited device warranty terms.
2. Legal Grounds for an Eligible Return
In strict alignment with Section 122 of the FCCPA, you are entitled to return a product and request a full refund or direct exchange under the following conditions:
Defective or Unsafe Goods: The item has an inherent manufacturing defect, internal hardware malfunction, or fails to power on upon initial unboxing.
Not as Described: The product delivered does not materially correspond with the technical specifications, brand models, or imagery advertised on www.megadigital.ng.
Unfit for Communicated Purpose: The product is found to be entirely unsuitable for a specific technical purpose that you explicitly communicated to us in writing prior to purchase.
Inability to Examine: You purchased the item online without an opportunity to inspect it beforehand, and upon delivery, it fails to meet standard merchantable quality metrics.
3. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, the product must be in the exact condition it was received:
It must be packed securely in its original manufacturer's packaging, including all internal structural cardboard, plastic wrap, and anti-static bags.
It must include all accompanying box contents, such as charging bricks, Type-C cables, documentation, user manuals, and promotional bundles.
The product must show no signs of cosmetic wear, scratches, modifications, or physical damage caused by post-delivery drops or misuse.
All factory security seals, serial numbers, and warranty stickers must remain fully intact and untampered with.
4. Explicit Exclusions (Non-Returnable Items)
We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:
Products that show signs of user-induced damage (e.g., liquid exposure, physical cracks, component-level burn marks caused by electrical power surges, or unauthorized opening/soldering).
Software licenses, digital downloads, or activated firmware profiles.
Items explicitly marked as "Clearance," "As-Is," or "Final Sale" at the point of purchase, provided their condition was transparently disclosed before payment.
Returns initiated purely due to a change of mind where the product is fully functional, free of defects, and matches the advertised description perfectly.
5. The Return Process
To return a product, please follow these administrative steps:
Initiate the Claim: Contact our customer support department via email at support@megadigital.ng or call our support lines. Provide your official Order Number, product serial number, a written description of the fault, and clear photographic/video proof of the issue.
Return Authorization: Once our team reviews the claim, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with return shipping instructions.
Shipping the Item: You can drop off the item at our designated Lagos center or ship it via one of our authorized logistics partners. Unless the return is due to a verifiable error on our part (e.g., wrong model shipped or dead-on-arrival hardware), the customer is responsible for covering initial return shipping costs.
6. Inspection, Testing, and Refund Approval
Technical Verification: Upon receiving the returned item, it will be placed in our technical diagnostic queue for inspection. This process typically takes 2 to 5 business days to verify that the fault is an internal hardware defect and not caused by user error or external power anomalies.
Approval Notification: We will notify you via email or phone regarding the approval or rejection of your return based on our technical findings.
7. Refund Issuance and Timelines
If your return is approved, we will process your refund using one of the following methods:
Original Payment Method: Refunds are initiated through our integrated third-party payment processors (e.g., Paystack or Flutterwave) directly back to the bank account or debit card used during checkout. Bank settlement cycles typically take 3 to 7 business days to reflect in your account.
Store Credit: Alternatively, you may choose to receive your refund instantly via a Mega Digital Limited store credit voucher code to use on future purchases.
Exchanges: If you request an exchange for an identical model, the replacement unit will be processed and shipped out within 48 hours of return approval, subject to stock availability.
8. Order Cancellation
Prior to Shipping: You have the right to cancel an order at any time before it leaves our fulfillment facility for a full refund.
Advance Bookings: In accordance with Section 120 of the FCCPA, cancellations of special advance bookings or custom hardware pre-orders may be subject to a reasonable cancellation fee depending on the processing state and nature of the procurement.
FAQs
We don't make you wait! We operate a Same-Day Dispatch policy for all in-stock hardware and components. If you place your order and complete payment between Monday to Friday before 4:00 PM, or on Saturday before 2:00 PM, your package will be packaged and handed over to our logistics couriers that very same day. Orders placed after these cutoffs or on Sundays will be dispatched first thing on the next business day.
Yes, we deliver on Saturdays! Our team and logistics partners operate on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please note that we do not work on Sundays. Any orders placed late on Saturday or throughout Sunday will be batched immediately for Monday morning dispatch.

Once an item leaves our facility via same-day dispatch, transit times depend on your chosen delivery tier. For standard shipping within Lagos, it typically takes 1–3 working days. If your package is delayed beyond the estimated window, it may be due to heavy peak-hour traffic anomalies or logistical route backlogs. Yes, but you must act quickly! Because we prioritize same-day dispatch, our fulfillment team moves fast. However, every customer will receive a phone call from our team to verify and confirm your order details before it leaves our facility.
When our team calls you to confirm, you can immediately request an adjustment to your delivery postcode, update your shipping address, or request an order cancellation. Please note that once you confirm the details over the phone and your package is handed over to our third-party courier network, the delivery route cannot be altered mid-transit.
Because we handle high-value electronic equipment, our logistics partners are strictly instructed not to leave packages unattended. The courier will attempt to call your mobile line. If you are unavailable, they will try to reschedule for our next active delivery window. To avoid delivery failure fees, ensure an authorized representative is present at your address during our operational hours (Mon–Fri: 8am–6pm, Sat: 9am–5pm).
